This is an overall verygood Wolverine/Logan figure. And it captures the Character's essence from the "Days of Future Past" story line, from which the design was taken. (Note to the artists of the 80's, People in the early 21st century DO NOT WEAR GREEN PANTS!) But the motorcycle is the reason to get this figure it is based on the Series VII Ghost Rider motor cycle with some additions, and subtractions. But it is still great. Haven't yet found the variant but the bike is supossed to be cleaner and sleeker.
Though this brings the Wolverine total up to 5 (Tiger-stripe sIII, Brown costume sVI, Weapon X sVII, Logan sXI, and Astonishing X-Men sXII) for the ML line, it is still a neat figure and behind Iron-Man at 6 figures. (1st Appearance, and Thor Buster are in Series XVI and XV, and that's not counting the multitude of varaint Iron-Man's).
Still, an X-Men Fan, Wolverine Fan, or Motorcycle enthusiast would do well to add this figure to their collection.

I have got to say that the "Legendary Rider" figures that I have seen are TERRIBLE looking. Logan looks like his face has been completely flattened and his head is too small for his body. The only ones of this series I haven't seen in the stores are the Scarlet Witch, Task-Master, and Ultron. I've seen the others, and they are easily the worst looking bunch of Marvel Legend figures to come out.

Days of Future Past Wolverine with motorcycle. What more is there to say? I personally did not buy any of the other Legendary Riders figures as it seemed like a lame idea after the way cool Galactus and Sentinel Series bonuses (and Apocalypse Series that came after) and none of the other figures really caught my eye. So I hope it says something that I did pick this one up.
The figure itself is a good solid old man Wolverine. His face and hair are scupted well and he has a, "I'm going to ride over there and puncture your lung." look on his face. While the claws are not as long as the Astonishing X-Men version in the next series, they are still good looking. His jacket, a soft rubber, fits well and looks surprisingly good and realistic and can be removed if you want. It does restrict his arms a bit but if you work with it you can still pull off a good amount of posing.
Of course if you bought this it was really for the motorcycle, you can admit it. And a awesome accesory it is. A good looking V-twin engine, the bike is sculpted well and is really realistic looking. The kick stand swivels in so he can ride and is sturdy enough to hold up the bike with Wolvie on it for display. My only complaint is the over rusting. He fits snuggly to the bike with foot pegs that slide up into his feet. The varient of this is a clean black and chrome bike with a "happy" Wolverine with blue jeans and white shirt. I guess in the future the pants faded to green and he never washed the shirt so it turned black (yeah, kind of gross). I kind of like the clean look but don't let that stop you getting the regular.
He's a gritty killing machine. Just put hin on the bike, swing his arm back as if to strike as he goes by and have fun. He really is a good figure.

I don't usually say this, but this is one of the best Wolverine figures to come along in a while. I'm usually one of those people who complain about all the Wolverine figures that come out in the Marvel Legends series. This one is special because of the accessory/display stand. The actual figure itself is something we have seen before. It's a different head sculpt, but it's the same body sculpt that was used for the Weapon X Wolverine in Marvel Legends Series 7 and the Logan figure from the short-lived X-Men Classics series. Which is fine because the articulation is excellent, the details are cool, and the joints are very tight and quite seamless. The paint job is good, too. I'm not too crazy about the choice of colors they used (green pants?? Eww.), but it's still good. His claws come in pretty good condition. They come out of the box fairly straight. I'm a real stickler for that when it comes to Wolverine figures. They could be a little longer, but at least they are kind of straight. He is also the right scale for the character. Every fan knows that Wolverine is a short guy and this figure compares nicely to the other figures in the Marvel Legends line-not too tall, not too short. The real selling point for me was his motorcycle and his jacket. They are awesome!! His jacket is made out of a very pliable rubber and fits the figure perfectly. It looks and feels like a bomber jacket and it can be removed if you choose to do that. Be careful putting it back on, though--his claws get in the way. The nice thing about this jacket is that it doesn't restrict the figure's arm movements very much at all and it just looks really nice in many of the poses you choose. It really adds a lot to the figure! The motorcycle is the icing on the cake. The figure fits on it very well and it looks very realistic. The one thing I don't like about it is that they used way too much rust-colored paint to make it look dirty and weathered. All the chrome pieces would have looked better if they had just left them chrome or silver. The cycle is also a display stand if you choose to hang it from the wall. The bad news is that the hole is on the bottom of the bike, so it looks like he's driving straight up or down the wall. The best way to display it is on a hard, flat surface. There's a little kickstand that will help hold up the bike. If you remove the screw that holds the kickstand, you'll have a nice motorcycle for Wolverine to cruise on. You can even fit other Marvel Legends figures on the cycle...and they fit pretty well, too. The figure comes with a copy of classic X-Men #141 which begins one of the X-Men's best stories, "Days of Future Past". There is a variant of this figure available where Wolverine is in a black jacket, blue pants, a hat, and the cycle is all cleaned up. It's definitely worth getting if you can find it. In the end, this figure is an example of where ToyBiz takes a good figure and makes it better. It is well stocked-as Wolverine figures are-so getting one will be easy. I highly recommend this one.
