This is a very fun and cool Lightsaber. It looks very realistic and even sounds real. The Lightsaber is very fun for anyone and i would totally recommend it, although even if it is a Lightsaber it is more of a collectable than an actual toy but can still be used for dueling. Sense it is a collectable it is slightly fragile and can scratch easily. But as long as you don't hit the Lightsabers to hard against anything they should be okay.

For a while I have been thinking about getting a Force FX Lightsaber. I eventually saved up enough money to get one and I spent a few weeks looking at all the different lightsabers. I eventually chose this one and I am glad I did! The lightsaber has a beautiful glow to it and it looks incredibly realistic when lit up (It lights up the whole room!). This lightsaber is however very delicate and will scratch fairly easily. As long as you don't use it for any serious fighting it should be fine. I love this lightsaber and so will you!

This is a great FX lightsaber. Since this is a more later version than the original fx's(i.e. Anakins AOTC) it is much more durable and lasts longer. This is not meant to fight with but thats obvious since it is a collectable. However the stunt coordinator for episodes 1-3 did fight with Hayden Christensen on TV. They fought for about 10 minutes (pretty hard like they actually do on the set and not just for show). One of them did end up cracking a bit mainly because Hayden hit hard to get Rick to lose his but did not shatter just cracked. So for as much money as you're spending for one of these don't fight. (By the way, Hayden ended up winning that fight).

Star Wars Luke Skywalker FX Lightsaber
I added this Force FX saber to my collection because it was the only green saber available at the time. Unlike some other sabers from Master Replicas, the hilt does not necessarily closely duplicates the appearance of the movie prop. The brushed aluminum finish is duller than the movie hilt, the saber handgrip does not exactly follow the more rounded ridges of the original, and, of course, one has to get over the "fat neck" syndrome, as it is impossible to accomodate the electronics, circuitry, blade without widening the neck over that of the original (in the same way the Obi-Wan Episode 3 saber has a fatter neck than the authentic prop). However, being one of the lightest hilts, this is also one of the easiest to spin and manuever. The blade is bright green, the digital sound is more than adequate. Luke ultimately defeats his father with this saber, designed after that of his master Obi-Wan, but not before he proves that there was still good in him....

This is just an awesome gadget/toy!! It's like the real thing with the sounds and real life feel! My husband loved it and now thinks he is actually Luke Skywalker. If buying for a kid, I would recommend a child at least 7 or older so they can actually hold it as it is a good size and weighs a few pounds. You'll get your moneys worth and will want to buy the others so you can battle your friends...
