I used to watch this show a lot when I was a kid. It provides a diverse background on dinosaurs and the era of when the dinosaurs lived by because of the various interactions that were taking place at the time. The show itself has the same introduction through every episode, unlike many others that change their intros. The introductions itself has a part that is always remembered: welcome to the land of the lost. This beginning part sets the stage for what happens later in the episodes.
The special effects themselves were great for that time period but some people might find them cheesy nowadays. The special effects are about on the same level as the first movie in the series of Jurassic Park.
If you like comedy, something that is not necesarilly a new release and don't have too much money to spend this is for you. It definately offers a great deal for the money spent.
