It's a good, basic DVD player with the unique capability of being vertical.
This is ideal for particular horizontal space limitations and not at all
common. It's been perfect for my in-the-wall nook for the TV which occupies most of the space.

The DV-MX1U is a great DVD player and looks great with any LCD TV with it's compact/vertical design. Simple and easy to use, it does the job for a great price. Those with HDTV will enjoy the clear and crisp picture on Progessive Scan. It has Dolby and DTS decoders that give off great sound.
I got this unit for $69.99 @ Bestbuy - check there if you are interested in this unit.
The one issue I have is the plastic casing that feels "cheap" when you hold it. However, it has a nice design that will look great with any Silver or Black colored T.V.
If you're looking for a Basic Progressive Scan DVD player, with great looks and that will save you space - this is a great pick.
