This figure is one of the best in the marvel legends series. I have over forty of the marvel legends figures and this is the tallest. The hair on his body looks real and his joints aren't to tight, but not to lose either their just right. I couldn't wait for them to release more Exiles members like Noctourne, Blink, Morph, & Mimic. I wasn't very happy to see the marvel legends series coming to an end with the seperation of marvel from Toy Biz the last series are going to be realeased later this year. I'm glad to see Psylocke & Falcon before the series end, but what about the wildly popular She Hulk. They've got the loser Sabertooth from the Exiles coming out, but not She Hulk. If you're going to bring an Exiles to the series at least bring characters we like. NOCTOURNE, MORPH, BLINK, MIMIC!!!!

This is the version of Sasquach from the Alpha Flight comics.
And it is a great figure. Sasquach also appears in the eXiles comic series, as does the Age of Apocalypse Sabretooth (who convieniantly will appear in ML sXVI). This is a great figure and well in scale, abotu twice the size of the Astonishing X-Men Wolverine. The cardbacks list Wolverine at 5'3", and Sasquach at 10'.
I have both the regular and variant Sasquach (which is technically Snowbird in Sasquach form). Both look amazing, and are well sculpted, though the variant has a slightly more interesting paint ops, with a white base, and blue and black to really bring out the highlights and lowlights. It is great to see the two Sasquaches pitted against one another. It would have been nice to see the issue of Alpha Flight in which Sasquach, and Snowbird as Sasquach squared off, since it would be able to show both the figure and the variant's origin quite nicely. But I've noticed that the comic reprints are chosen more often than not for their covers, which usually feature the character they're packed with quite prominately. Whether or not that character has very much to do with that actual story line.
Sasquach seems to be pretty easy to comr by, however, finding the variant may be a little harder. Both are worth adding to your collection. Don't let the fact that this is a more obscure character stop you from picking one up, and not just for the Apocalypse piece either. I first saw the character listed for this series, and was puzzled, thinking that I might not even get one, but after picking it up, was very pleasantly supprised. Here's hoping some other Alpha Flight members get the ML treatment, such as Vindicator, Guardian, Snowbird; and some eXiles (NOCTURNE!) too.

These oversized, giant figures are by and large very well done - they're very sturdy and well sculpted. Again, my only disappointment is the lack of holes in the feet or a base to support the figure. I just discovered that there's a chase "snowbird" white sasquatch. Sounds cool.

Sasquatch is another fine Marvel Legends figure. He's really tall and looks great! We certainly don't see Alpha Flight characters come along through Marvel Legends often enough, so he is really worth picking up. His body sculpt is the same as Man-Thing's from Marvel Legends Series 8, so the articulation/poseability is very good and the joints are tight and well concealed. The paint looks good and the furry details from head to toe really bring him to life. The nicest thing about this figure is that he looks like he is in the right scale with most of the other Marvel Legends figures. The character is 10 feet tall and this figure appears to be that tall when compared to other figures. Maestro Hulk (also available in this series) doesn't appear to be the right size. He's the right width, but not tall enough. I think that if they can get it right with Sasquatch, they can get it right with everybody else. Sasquatch comes with a copy of Alpha Flight #10. It's an excellent comic that shows you him in action. In the comic, Sasquatch battles the Fantastic Four's villain, Super Skrull. It's good for the kids to read. This series is called the Apocalypse Series because, as in past series, the 6 figures have a piece of the 7th, larger figure-Apocalypse. Apocalypse is a 5,000-year-old mutant and an arch nemesis of the X-Men. He turns out to be 14 inches tall and he looks really, really good when he is all assembled. He IS the best one in the series. Most people probably won't consider the character selection in this series to be the best, so it was a good idea for ToyBiz to release these figures in this fashion. Personally, I love the character selection AND the idea of building another, larger figure. They should continue it in future releases. Everyone will want to put together their own Apocalypse since he was very hard to get when he made his 6-inch appearance in Marvel Legends 7. Sasquatch is pretty well stocked, so if you want him for the Apocalypse piece or not, you're still getting a great action figure who plays and displays well. There is another version of this figure available, but it's harder to find. (This is one series that has lots of different versions of the figures) The variant figure is called "frozen" Sasquatch. Instead of his fur being all orange, it's all white to make it look like he's been out in the Canadian snow for a while. It's the exact same figure with a different paint job. You're not really missing much at all if you can't find it. The orange version is every bit as good, if not better. If you want the white fur, paint over the orange version. I highly recommend this figure to Marvel Legends/Alpha Flight fans.
