Great system! I was set on buying a PS3, but after winning the right to purchase the Xbox360 for $100 I love it! Awesome graphics! Nice Interface! If I had to pay full price; I would still recommend it over the PS3!

WAY TO DROP THE BALL MICROSOFT. WAY TO FREAKING GO!!! I thought that people systems were failing because they were playing too much. I was so wrong. Mine failed in 6 months. sent it back to the repair center. Those red lights are hell man. get a warranty and dont buy it used. buy it brand new. i had my sega genesis for 15 years without a single problems.WAY TO DROP THA BALL, MICROSOFT!!!
As for the 360 experience, i love it. Gears of War, FEAR, and Madden are great games. its a nice system for the price. Go get the core if you have a standard tv and no internet connection. You don't need HD cables and headsets. I give it an A+ for a great gaming console.

The Xbox 360 has some very powerful components within it and are still being exploited by newer and better games. But not only that, you still have to play online to get the full experience which includes Videos, arcade games, trailers for movies, full movies and game Demos. On top of all of that, most of it can be viewed in either native 720p or upscaled for a full 1080p experiene. It doesnt even end there, the HD-DVD Player add makes DVDs look like VHS tapes, and for the price? Come on! The Xbox 360 has its strengths in graphic output, connectivity and intuitive style of outputting media of all sorts. Look up Gears of War, the gameplay is addictive and the graphics are drop-dead gorgeous. The future of the Xbox 360 looks promising.

It's just another way for the people that create these systems to get more money. At the current cost of the core system, it's a shame that you have to invest another $100 to get the memory that the gamers need to save their games. What is the root of all evil? The love of money. So if you're considering buying the core system because it's $100 cheaper then the deluxe system, think again...you'll have to spend the extra to make the game system enjoyable.
