If you purchase this be sure and get a large enough size for your child. My daughter is very thin and the medium I bought for her is baggy and too long. Just right for a costume. I will probably give it a couple simple stitches around the waist that can easily be removed when she grows. The opening is not overly generous and the cape and hood must be in front of the child when they climb into the suit. I would plan on modifying the opening or would not buy for a stockier child. (The opening could probably be cut longer and sewed with velcro or some other fastener however my sewing skills are not that good so keep that in mind). If you buy it bigger and your child is fairly slim this is a pretty standard outfit. As the previous reviewer said, plan on reglueing the jewels onto the belt when you get it. The first fell off of ours on the first wear. No biggie.

Now my kids LOVE to play in their costumes year-round so I find the standard simple costumes such as this provide the most comfort. The fancier bulkier costumes are not comfortable enough for the kids to play in. Most of these jumpsuits do get runs or tears eventually (some pretty quickly) but with my kids we get our money's worth out of them.

I would say this costume is an ok purchase if on sale but I did not pay anywhere near the full price. Because I paid less I am content with this costume and my daughter is thrilled.

Bottom line: I consider this to be of normal Halloween costume quality. I recommend as 4 stars because I got a good price here (a very large discount) and my daughter is happy and the costume acurately reflects Raven.
