As with Season 2's review, hubby and I were pleasantly surprised with the "lost episodes" that we were able to enjoy once again. The "extras", such as the cast interviews, etc., were fun to watch as well. I was hospitalized right after receiving this Amazon.com order, so it was especially refreshing to enjoy the DVD's on our portable DVD player in my hospital room. It kept our spirits up, and made the time in the hospital so much more bearable than watching the "limited tv stations" at the hospital. Anxious to receive Season 4 so we can continue our "journey back in time", while I recover from my recent surgery. Nice to "go back" to when I was "Jackie's size", wearing many of the same outfits she wears during the show! Hubby is jealous of Hyde's wardrobe, as he wore clothes more like Eric - and to this day, will never wear a striped t-shirt for any amount of money! Ha!

That '70s Show - Season 3 is my second favorite season of this hilarious show. There are real gems this season, my favorite is the Halloween episode which the gang pays tribute to Hitchcock's classic films like Psycho, The Birds, and Rear Window, etc. Mila Kunis is a riot and Danny Masterson shows his softer side this season. Talented cast and it's pretty cool that the entire series of this show had the same director, the great David Trainer. I highly recommend season 3, buy it today!

Season 3 or season 4 are my choices if you want to get only one or two in the series. By this point, the cast has learned the nuances of each other's chemistry, on and off stage, and it shows in how they relate more naturally to one another -- just as you would expect from a group of friends and their parents. Also, the series is still young and the plots have yet to grow predictable and the acting has yet to show signs of tedium.
As to lesser points to the season 3 line-up, the Halloween episode and "Hyde's Father" don't hold up well under repeated viewing, IMHO. Otherwise, the season is a hit and is endearing as well as entertaining.

I don't have much to say, only that this season is one of the reasons that this show is fantastic. From the beginning, starting with Reefer Madness, it just gets it all right, the comedy, the characters, the plotlines; it's all genius. I never stop laughing and I watch this DVD all the time.

This is a good season for anyone who enjoys the classic That 70s Show.
I've notice when watching the show that the later seasons were lacking talented writing. The shows in the later seasons are filled with one-liners and slapstick, rarely with a good storyline or theme.
Season 3, on the other hand, is a good season when there was still plot in the show.
