This game has always been a guilty pleasure for me. The reason I say that is because the game is no better than Ultimate Alliance or X-Men Legends but I have played and beat the game about five times. I just really am a hardcore DC fan, so I love playing all of my favorite JLA members. The game plays very similarly to the titles I have mentioned at the beginning, but there isn't as much freedom as X-Men legends. You can't really choose, except towards the end, who you want to be. No biggie. Like I said, it is a fun little game that you will like if you like the other games that are like this.

What else can I say? Both of my daughters love this game. They (ages 8 & 11) hound me every night, "Daddy, are we going to play Justice League???" My oldest loves Zatanna and Martian Manhunter and my youngest also loves Zatanna (or Magic Girl as she calls her). I'm a huge fan of Supes and the Flash. The action isn't too violent (in my opinion) and the graphics really push the PS2 platform; especially during the cut scenes! Also, the unlockable costumes were a great addition. The Superman and Batman alternates are really spectacular!
As far as playability goes, well my 8-year-old has this game down pat and I'm playing a second saved game with my oldest. She loves creating and assigning boosts. LOL We're only about half-way through and are anxious to use some of our unlocked characters like Hawkgirl and the alternate Green Lanterns.
My only gripe would be we can't choose our characters on each level. There's sometimes I just really don't want Batman. Aside from that I have no complaints! GREAT GAME! GREAT TIMES!

Good game for Super Hero fans. Does not have deep game play, but is a fun casual arcade game. Also cool because it can be two player.

Bought for my son for Christmas. Works out real well because he likes for me to play with him and I enjoy playing too. Challenging for me but not too hard for him to play (He is 7). Fun game.

kind of fun but very similar to other games ,like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, except with smaller mission teams(with less controller change options) and NO team member choice options, which is the biggest game flaw. plus the voice acting, while well done, is flawed
