You've gotta know, for the 1st thing, that the PSP is worth the price.
Some people say it's pretty bad, or not what they expected. Well, they may be right. I got the PSP in my summer vacations, and I was surprised with the graphics. My first game was Petpet Adventures: The Wand of Wishing. I was really dissappointed with the game, but to think that I had a PSP just made my heart beat faster...
1st. The speakers are the worst, why, because it is WHERE they are. I play on my bed, and when I play with it -on- me (my stomach), the sound fades. And it is really annoying.
2nd. I think that the value pack brought a EXTREMELY too little Memory Stick duo. Just 32MBs! I cannot put music, and anyways, when you play music... it so plain! It MUST have a player or something... :P
But, leaving that behind, the PSP is a great product. And if you're thinking on buying one, don't change your mind. Buy it here in www.Amazon.com! It has video, photos, music, games and internet!! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE! DO NOT LET THE OPORTUNITY FADE!!

i got the psp for christmas last year and is still working good. the movies look great and the games have good graphics. the only things i dont like is that your finger prints get all over the plastic and gets anoying at times but other tan that i love it....i recomend to buy a better memmory card than the one that comes with it if you want to put photos,music and save alot of game memo on it!!

I love this thing. Pictures, music, slide shows, my own video clips (and full movies with a larger memory card.) UMD's for watching movies I can take or leave, but the games are the best of any handheld ever. Any comparison with GameBoys is pointless, this compares most closely with the PlayStation 2! The screen is so pretty I can't even find the words.
Grand Theft Auto, Wipeout Pure, Twisted Metal, Spider-Man, and Katamari are all terrific. Web browsing isn't that great, mostly because you need a keyboard and a bigger screen for any real internet use. But some sites are well suited for it...find some favorites that work for you and this is pretty handy too.
This is my favorite toy I've ever had, and I'm 36!

For many years, the venerable Gameboy dynasty was the only system that had staying power, big names like Atari, Sega to smaller companies like Tiger (the company that makes alot of cheap electronic toys) have tried to dethrone the champ, yet none of them even could topple Nintendo and it's mighty Gameboy. Just when Nintendo was sure they could never be taken down, Sony's PSP stepped in.
Ah sony, the company that did what no one thought possible, take down the mighty Nintendo. These days, it's too bad that Gamecube is dying. However, SOn'y PS2 continues to thrive as a great console, even after 2 months before the release of the rest of the next gen consoles. So what is the PSP, let's just say it is my favorite thing ever. I don't hate the DS, I think it's great, but The PSP omore has games geared toward my age (im almost 16). From GTA to Metal Gear Solid, the PSP sastisfies my gaming fix on the road, (almost, can't forget DS).
The PSP is a wellcrafted, beautiful, sleek handheld, really shiny, glowering, and a multimedia player. The behemoth has a huge screen, blah blah, you know the score. I love the PSP, it really keeps me entertained, and I actually play it more than my console games (partially due to the fact it's the only system I own that has Grand Theft Auto, at least for now). Some people complain that the PSP ha nothing but janky, hard to control ports, but I truely beg to differ. THe psp is an awesome system, no doubt, I absolutly love it. The value pack is a definite plus, you really need the memory stick, and all of the accessories that comes with it. And all the other stuff isn't bad either. There are other configurations coming out, so look at those to. I will be reviewing those as well, giving you my opinion on if you should buy it or not (it has to do on if it's right for you). Overall, the PSP is my favorite portable.
Sure, The DS is way more innovative, and it's great to, but my heart is set on the PSP. I am especially excited about this y ears games, especially Vice CIty Stories.

DONT GET THE VALUE PACK!!!
All the extra items you get in the value pack is not worth the money. The memory card is too small and you're most likely going to get a new one with a larger capacity. The headphones are cheap and will not last more than a month. You are most likely going to get a new carrying case for your PSP also. It is not worth the extra $60.
