OK really I got the core pack because i didn't have enough $. That's 50$ less but has no accessories besides the charger. This has the PSP, A/C charger (home charger),32MB memory stick duo, and some other stuff. Your going to have to get a game and if you want a new memory stick. 32MB is small. I have a 256MB for just game saves. Smallest one Gamestop had. Then there's the 2GB. Save tons of game saves, music, movies, photos, even entire games! It really depends on what you are going to do with your PSP. Anyway on to games. There are some good games out now. More are comming out soon like GTA Vice City Stories! And for Ace Combat fans, in fall 2006, Ace Combat X comes out! If you like racing get Burnout Legends or Juiced Eliminator. Burnout Legends has cars from Burnout 1-3, and tracks from 1 and 2.Great graphics, good sound, cool cars and awesome racing with chances to "Take Down" your opponent. Juiced Eliminator your goal is to become the most respected racer in Angel City. There are 8 rival crews each withdifferent ways to gain respect. You can also trick out your ride, race for pink slips, and get your own crew. If fighting's your thing try Dynasty Warrors. Each character has 1 of 3 different types of weapons. Poles, Blunts, and Blades. Each character has different combos and different special attack called a mousou attack (moo-sow). You also level up your character during the battle increasing his stats. On the battle field you must face privates, corprals, seargeants, captains, elite gaurds, worthy opponents, enemy generals, and more. you also can recruit officers. They can change the tide of battle with their powers and abilities. Great Graphics, Good replay value, very fun (my dad keeps trying to beat my record,1693 kills!)5 stars. So here are my ratings for the PSP overall.
Graphics 5 stars
Sound 4 stars
Game Selection 4 stars
Internet Browser 3 stars
Multiplayer Online 3 stars
Game sharing 5 stars
P.S you can share games that are capable using game sharing.Great if you want to play with a friend that dosn't have the game!

The PSP is the best portable gaming device out there on the market. It has a lot of functions such as playing games, looking at pictures, watching movies, listening to music, and surfing the web. It has a very nice looking bright screen. The screen may be small but it doesn't really affect the game play. Music sounds good on this device and the speakers go up pretty loud. The battery holds up a good charge. The case that is comes with is not that good so I recommend getting a PGP. The PSP is also excellent for watching movies.
Note: This is a GAMING device. Don't buy this and expect to use it as your primary MP3 player or web browser. This device is too bulky when used as an MP3 player and I don't recommend taking it to the gym. Also, you have to buy memory cards to store the music on. The web browser on the PSP is slow. This is because it runs on 802.11b.
Recommended Accessories:
PGP (case)
Screen Protector
Memory Card- at least 512MB

The PSP is the only portable system to be able to compete with Nintendo in the handheld department, besides the Game Gear.
I have both the PSP and DS and I must say I prefer the DS.
Heres my take on the PSP
Pros
- Better graphics
- Better sound quality
- Great games and Sony exclusives {more mature games}
- Can watch movies, listen to music, and more.
Cons
- Delicate, espeicaly the screen.
- Expensive games, and add ons
- Control layout in most games are hard without two analog pads
It is a good system but, the online gaming isn't as good as Nintendo's wi fi and it cost alot to purchase for.

PSP has really been a good system for me over the last year. It's passed the time when I was bored. The only problem is, everyone is saying all the gams are ports of PS2 ones, and why don't you just buy DVD's. Well, I can't really complainbecause I don't have a PS2, and I don't have many DVD's, so all these games are new to me.
The problem is not Sony, it's Sony's third party company's. After a recent wave a good games, they've gone back to making ports. The third party comapny's aren't using the PSP to it's full extent, but I think whn they do, we will have a great hanheld.
The mp3/wma feature is great. I don't really need that big of a MSD. Mine is 256 MB and I have 100 WMA songs, all my game saves, 50 photos, a Loco Roco demo, 2 cartoons, and still 6 MB of room to spare for future game purchases\downloads.
Videos are nice and high quality. I never really cared bout special features, only the movie.
Games are nice, I don't have a PS2, remember so they're all new to me. I reallly like every game I own and there are about 30 or so I still want to buy, along with a bunch more movies, maybe a 2GB MSD. The games have great graphics, but the online feature could be better for some games. Madde NFL 06' and SOCOM have the best online featre for all the games I own, although I may be better ones.
Overall the PSP has really amazed me, and I'm glad I got it.
