In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - boring four
here is the story watch the movie i like it play the game i feel like i want to cry. this game is pointless i mean who wants a pointless movie based game i like the idea of having the original cast in it for voice overs but all the game is fight , jump, solve easy puzzle the graphics stink and that is what i think

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Boring!
Alright, its fun every once in awhile but it gets old fast...

If you like mindless button pushing and fighting mole-men, stone aztec things, and now mummies then you should still find a different game then this one. I know it's hard to make a video game that doesn't envolve mindless button pushing but this one doesn't even make an effort to differ from that.

What they should do is put games like this out on PSP where you wouldn't mind pushing buttons because you'd be traveling or trying to pass the time. I actually think it would be more fun on PSP because with large systems you expect a lot which, this game didn't bring.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good game took look take a chance with
I loved this game the 3D graphics were incredible the cut scenes looked just like the movie. I liked X-Men legends more though, But this game has good replay and better graphics they also added more story on to it like with old enemy's like moleman, and Diablo, and a few others. I loved the puzzles they added into the game to keep you into the game. I Mean me and my friend had an awesome time playing this on coop like combining super powers. Also you have three super powers which as you upgrade look different, and also are more powerful. Then you have a comic attack which you can use by getting a super coin, and doing combos. Altogether the animations cool throw in huge cool bosses coop I just don't know why it's not 4-players and it's called fantastic 4 I say get this while your waiting for X-Men legends 2 so if you love to fight big bosses and cool animations like Ben grabbing guys and slamming them on the ground get this just make sure you read the instructions you don't know how many people got mad, because they didn't know how to play it right.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Fantastic Bore
Awful!! Those people that gave this game good reviews are making money in some way from the sale of this game. I heard it was similar to the X-Men Legends game (which was great) so I didn't think twice about picking it up. I could not have been more disappointed. Graphics stink, gameplay is awful...I can't think of anything nice to say about it.

I should have seen it coming...the commercials for the game have no actual footage or screenshots from the game. The animation on the commercial looks nothing like the game. Multi player mode is even worse that single which stinks.

If you just feel the need to get rid of 50 bucks....flush it down the toilet and cut your losses. You'll feel better about yourself than if you actually spend money on this crap and then feel obligated to play it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - It is so NOT "clobberin' time"
You know, I had hopes for this game. I really did. THE HULK was certainly a playable adventure that delivered on the feeling of "being the Hulk". Both SPIDERMAN games did credit to their source material. And I've heard that most of the X-MEN games translated well, too.

There are, after all, some constants in the comic book gaming universe. If the game is based on a DC character, it will be the worst and most painful thing you've ever played. Witness the many attempts to make Batman and Superman even remotely interesting. Platform after platform have given us NOTHING with these characters.

So what kind of world, I ask you, do we live in now where a Batman game is arguably one of the best adaptations of all time, and Stan Lee allowed this...abomination?

I have NEVER been so totally disappointed, so totally early, by any game. EVER.

If you don't know by the first mission--which comes, mind you, PRIOR to the team becoming "fantastic"--that this game is gonna suck, I'd argue that you've never played a good video game in your life. Harsh words? Yes. But true. Oh, so sadly, sadly true.

I don't even really know how to qualify the problems with this game other than to say I can't really wrap my mind around anything GOOD the game has to offer. Voice acting? No. Story? No. Graphics. Certainly not. Clever realization of super powers? Um, again, not so much. Good online play? It doesn't even exist. Puzzles that are satisfying once you figure them out? You try opening a door in the early part of this game.

It's just button-mashing madness, with a hint that maybe there might have been a good idea at one faraway stage in the game's development.

I cannot believe I paid full price, or indeed, ANY price for this game. This game is about one thing and one thing only: release date. As long as the producers got something halfway playable out there before the movie premiered, then they accomplished their central mission. This game is a blatant example of a company trying to make its money back off of people hyped by a film, without worrying about any of those pesky details like graphics or gameplay. Granted, this isn't as bad as the notorious ET game back in the 80s--but, in 2005 terms, it's pretty close. After all the strides that movie tie-in games have made in the last couple of years to actually be GOOD in their own right, it's just depressing to see that there are still some companies out there who see the license as a negotiated right rather than a privilege to be cherished.
