I gave this as a gift and the family loved it. They just don't make shows like they use to. The junk on t.v. today....I don't even watch it.
I'm glad you had this. Having the older shows available for us to purchase....priceless. Thank you.

Highway to Heaven Season One DVD is superb! Creative story lines, a real pleasure to view each episode.

Just bought Highway to Heaven, Seasons 1, 2 &3 and loved each and every episode! When and where can I buy Seasons 4 and 5?????

Short and sweet: Love the show. Hate the DVDs. Someone said
the lips are "out of synch..." No they aren't that's because
MOST of the time, some "do-gooder" dubbed the "offensive"
stuff out of the episodes. Even with a 2-minute "teaser"
starting MOST episodes, there's BARELY 44-minutes a show.
Great show, acceptable video. All three seasonal-sets say
they're in stereo. Maybe it's because I spent thousands of
dollars on my 5.1-Bose System, but only remember any "ster-
eo" on a FEW episodes... and only in Season Three. I figur-
ed when I got the first TWO seasons (new) for half the cost
(total!) of the third one, S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G was wrong.
Whose bed is all the missing sound and video under? Michael
Landon died about 20-months after Victor French-- they are
probably spinning in their graves. They deserved more re-
spect than this! God help us all. I'm a Republican... maybe
a Democrat can fix the problem. Someone in the Moral Right
got THIS ALL WRONG! Remastering is a M-U-S-T!

I thoroughly enjoyed every episode from this first season. Actually, I never took the time to watch this when it first aired. I am so thankful that it was put on DVD, so I can watch it now. I am, however, a long time fan of "The Little House of the Prairie" series, and enjoyed the biography of Michael Landon that is a bonus on this DVD set. He most certainly was an angel himself, to write, produce, and direct such quality entertainment. I was deeply impressed with the show. ENJOY!!
