Good toy, works fine. No complaints about that, but the gun is NOT BLUE as depicted in the photo. I came shopping on amazon looking for a 'big blue gun' as my 3 year old requested for his 4th birthday and I knew his cousin had this one . . . in BLUE, so I figured this was probably "the one" he was imagining in his head (to a 3 year old, this is huge enough). I had seen on other sites that it was depicted in orange and assumed (incorrectly i now see) that the one amazon had must be a blue one - thinking maybe they still had stock of the blue one where other stores had sold out and switched to orange? Guess not - it's just an old pic. The gun arrived just a couple days before my son's birthday and I actually didn't open the amazon box till the night before to wrap his gifts (a taped amazon box is an easy hiding place for b-day gifts) so I was stuck wrapping this one or not have a 'blue gun' to give him. Son was happy with gun (he said 'WOW, a gun!'), but I didn't get that 'COOOOOL, DAD!!!! A BIG! BLUE! GUN!!!!!!' with the excitement of recognizing it was 'the one' he was wanting that I was going for. Bummer. Thought everyone should know in case color was a factor in getting this gun!

You have to squeeze the trigger with a little less speed if you don't want your darts to jam. To my suprise the darts actually stick strongly to some surfaces when being fired. I can forsee the gun spring (you pull back) breaking eventually - looks very dinky, but as long as you treat your toy with some appreciation, I'm sure you'll get your moneys worth. Another thing that kept this gun from getting 5 stars is the fact that the 6 bullet chamber doesnt come all the way out like a normal revclver. It only slides out partially and lets you put 1 bullet in at a time.

I pair this with my Recon CS-6, and I think it's the best Nerf gun (other then the Recon). It's pretty durable, and supports a couple attachments. If you buy this, I recommend extra ammo.

This isn't a good blaster for a primary. It's a legit sidearm, but the speed and the insane RoF are what makes this thing awesome. It's THE ultimate choice for a Speed Raider. Speed Raiders rush in and deal as much damage possible, and then go for a quick retreat. The small size allows extreme portability. As for range, it goes as much as a heavily modded Scout. (The Scout's terrible, modded it's OK) There is also an insanely easy mod to make the barrel extend further. Mine can be taken out. It's very durable, I have two. One is broken due to a modding accident. I now use that barrel for a clip on my working one.

This is a great toy, but let's just say it won't help raise your little boy as the next Einstein.
Kidding aside, it's pretty powerful. It can hurt if fired close-range, but you won't kill someone.
The main problem I had was that it's kind of hard to load in the bullets. It's not actually hard, persay, but takes a couple of seconds. If your buddy had a faster loading gun, you'd be...in trouble.
Good value.
