My husband and I like to play some board games from time to time, like Trivial Pursuit. We purchased this game for Christmas as something different but still in the question and answer category. We played it yesterday. The game has the usual question cards. The years are the 60's,70's,80's and 90's with four categories having to do with each of those decades. The categories are Memory Lane (more specific answers), Dead or Alive - ( choose one or the other), Hit Parade- questions on music and lyrics and Hot or Not (choose one or the other). The game board is small and has a spinner that does not work well. The players cards are played like a bingo game with chips. (cover the categories and win with correct answers filling up the game board). I liked the game but my husband was not impressed. One major flaw is in the Hit Parade category where some questions are designed to sing any line of song lyrics for a certain song. There is no way to check accuracy if one of the players sings a line from a song that people have never heard??
Anyway, most people will have fun with it but it appears to be a cheap version of similar Q&A games with only medium substance and enjoyment.
