I've had this console for the last 4 years and I only have one problem with it , about two years back my dvd drive started to give problems regarding to opening. anyways , i heavily modded it and transformed it into a beast and all i can say is that its still goin strong

Having a blast. The Xbox works great. Hope the report card is as excellent as the skills developing using this game. haha

i own this fine product which i bought 3 years ago at a retailer store and not here..its still working fine and will work for many more years.
has vibration and every other effect a person will want.
Only thing bad is that it takes up too much space!
its a pretty big box.

The original Xbox system is by far the best console I have ever owned. I had the Playstation 2 break on me twice, both times with the same "disk read error" message. Well over $400 later, I went with the Xbox and never had any problems. The games are pretty good as well, and most of them are made for both the Xbox and PS2, so you are not really missing anything (except for Metal Gear Solid).
I have since moved on to PC gaming, but the Xbox will always hold a place in my heart.

I have enjoyed having the Xbox for some time now. The games for it are great; they leave you wanting to come back again. Even though the system is old as heck now it's still nice to have around. I let my niece and nephew play it now seeing as I know if they break it it's of no real lose. The price has come down greatly in these guys which if you just want something to play some games it's great, they are also easily cracked and you can set them up as you please. I now have a 360 along with a HD-TV so the original Xbox doesn't get used all too often anymore.
