I have seen this movie several times in the past, BUT NOT AS A SAVED CHRISTIAN THROUGH MY SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. I wish a NEW version would be made, and would be MORE accurate. The DVD set is great! A must buy for my collection.

You don't have to be religious in order to enjoy this movie. It truly is a classic and ahead of it's time when it comes to cinematography and costume. As always, Charlton Heston is a bit preachy in his acting but still does a decent job. Yul Brenner does a great job of playing a strong Ramses bent on destroying Moses and his people. All the rest of the characters do a great job of telling the tale of this time. Be ready to be taken on a journey in Egypt.

This movie has been part of my life for many years. I remember watching this on television for the first time and every year after, around easter, we knew to prepare for this spectacle when it came on the television. I remember how it filled my heart at such a young age with spirituality, a belief in a higher source and that although bad and good co existed we should all tolerate one another. Now with this beautiful, ornate and powerful spectacle created by the great Cecil B. Demille, boasting a great cast such as Charleton Heston, Yul Brynner, Estelle Taylor and the GREAT Edward G. Robinson and many more, on DVD, in beautiful sound and color, it can be enjoyed for many years to come. I was truly thrilled to find this on DVD accompanied by a silent version of The Ten Commandments. Simple divine.
You will not be dissapointed with any of the features included in this package.

The DVD arrived in great condition. It was properly packeged, and arrived within a week. I was pleased with the cost.

This is the crowning glory of what a movie about Moses and the Ten Commandments should be. I remember seeing it when it first came out and was very imprressed with it at that time; however, this 50th anniversary edition is outstanding. I would recommend this very highly to anyone.
