I suppose this is a little scary but less so then Wonka or Oz and my daughter loves it. So as much as I hate it, it isn't for me but her. All of these "scary" DVDs teach them lessons that they should listen to their parents or adult authority and if they don't, bad things happen.

I don't know why this got good reviews from parents. Care bears are cute and a good idea BUT why do they always have to have a scarey villian! This was way too scarey for my son. You aren't safe with practically anything today. Kipper is your best bet if you want to be safe.. and even kipper occationally gets into a stressful situation or two for a preschooler. If you are looking to be safe read the review on the Kipper tapes and see if your child can handle the subject matter on each... They are the best I think.
