My 3 year old son LOVES this game, and I can't get over how fast he's learned his letters and their sounds. I'm simply amazed and highly recommend this cartridge!

I purchased this game and have never regretted it! This game is the best! I love how it teaches the letters with a "catchy" song. My 2 year olds and 4 year old fight over this game! Well worth the money for this game!

Ok, I will admit I am not a big fan of the song (sounds like "the farmer in the dell" except with letters like "the B says Buh, the B says Buh, Every letter makes a sound the B says Buh....etc.). But that is what the leapster headset and volume control is for! But I will say that it has really helped my son with letter recognition and phonics! It is very exciting when your child applies the knowledge he learns from this video. Very good teaching tool!

I picked this up accidently instead of Word Factory (was in hurry) and didn't realize till I handed it to my 4 1/2 YO. Then it was took late. He happily ripped it open and stuck it in his Leapster. Since he already reads, he got a little bored with it, but surprisingly he will still play it sometimes and he likes it. The letters dance and talk and it has a simple game. It is cute.
This video would be awesome for a child that was learning his letters. If you have a very young child, 2 or 3, you can set the video to just play and once it's though it will turn off the Leapster.

I purchased this game for my daughter's 4th. birthday. She loves it and we do too! She had already learned her capital letters, but didn't know many lower case letters or the letter sounds. I couldn't seem to find a fun way to teach these to her and she lost interest very quickly under my instruction :) However, after only having the Letter Factory for just one day, she could recognize both upper and lower case letters and had learned (really learned) the letter sounds. I couldn't be more pleased with this game. I thought that after getting the Finding Nemo and Disney Princess games that she wouldn't play with this one much, but so far my "little princess" prefers the Letter Factory even over her favorite Disney characters.
