The sand box itself is nice and provides a great play area for the kids. The top is nice, too - - keeping the wind, rain (and cats!) out of it. However, the umbrella and its pole leave a little to be desired. The pole is flimsy and has bent several times, just in regular usage. The stems of the umbrella have broken, again, just in regular usage. Considering that it is an outdoors product, it would have been nice to see the umbrella be a little more sturdy. The kids still play a lot with the sand box, even though the umbrella damage happened within the first 1-3 weeks of getting it.

This is a great toy for toddlers. I bought it for my 1 and 2 year old sons. They love splashing in it and digging in the sand. They really enjoy pushing the boats (came with it) around in the water and filling the pots (came with it). I reccommend this toy to everyone.

We got this for my daughters 2nd birthday and she loves it! She has a great time mixing the sand and water and making things from the sand. I like it because she doesn't have to sit in a sand box, she just stands next to it and that makes her a lot less messy! I am really glad I bought it. The only downside, I guess, is that after she plays with it, you have to clean out the water side every time, and it is a little messy with all the wet sand in there. But it's not that big of a deal.

My son loves this activity center and I love not having to clean sandy diapers!!! Note: this does not come with sand, so make sure you purchase sand that is specifically designed for children (i.e. pre-washed and non-toxic if eaten).

This is really a great buy! I sent this to my 4 year old niece for her birthday and my sister said every kid on the block has come to her house in morning and plays with this toy all day. They played with it non stop for two days before the sand I had ordered to go with the play table arrived. When the sand came, it was like a new toy. I like the fact that they are under the umbrella so they are in shade and likely to play longer.. the water gets their hands clean. It is very durable and sturdy my sister said and it was super easy to assemble. Now I know what I am going to buy for the other young toddlers in my family when their birthdays come around!
