Even though this version of the soundtrack has less tracks than the UK release, I prefer this one because I can listen straight through without skipping. I find all the songs here very enjoyable and it would've been a perfect soundtrack if Coldplay's Warning Sign and Michelle Branch's Goodbye To You were included. Hopefully there will be more Buffy music released in the future.

I didn't fall in love with every song on this CD, but there are a enough songs like Sarah McLaughlin "Prayer of St. Francis" and "Key" that make this CD entirely worthwhile!

Despite the extra cost, I wisely chose to import the alternate 21 track Radio Sunnydale rather than settling for the domestic version. Along with featuring my least favorite song from both soundtracks ("Everybody Got Their Something"), the CD is missing some of my favorite tracks from the import ("Still Life", "Summerbreeze", and the "bad Buffy" Cibo Matto classic - "Sugar Water").
But there are a few tracks, including Prayer of St. Francis, that the import doesn't feature, so it's a trade off. And both are tragically lacking Michelle Branch's "Goodbye To You" from "Tabula Rasa". Regardless of the CD you decide to buy, both should have a handy episode guide to help you identify the episode that features the song. So here it is! (episode number, episode title)
1. Buffy Main Title Theme (new recording by The Breeders)
2. Stop Thinking About It (5.11, "Triangle")
3. Bohemian Like You (5.11, "Triangle")
4. Everybody Got Their Something (6.6, "All the Way")
5. Key (5.14, "Crush")
6. Sound of the Revolution (6.15, "As You Were")
7. Ballad for Dead Friends (1.2, "The Harvest")
8. Blue (7.7, "Conversations With Dead People")
9. Pavlov's Bell (7.8, "Sleeper")
10. There's No Other Way (5.11, "Triangle")
11. Prayer of Saint Francis (6.22, "Grave")
12. The Final Fight (7.22, "Chosen")

highly recommended soundtrack for all fans of Buffy-verse and not fans. Although this cd has less tracks than the first Buffy soundtrack, the pieces are better and the selection is amazing in all senses. I never realized about the really good music Buffy serie had on the background.

I adore this CD. However, I don't remember most of the songs actually playing during the show. Probably just my fuzzy memory. The ones that stick out more clearly in my mind are on the Album, like Virgin State of Mind that played during one of the vamp Willow episodes. One that is sadly missing from both CDs is Goodbye To You by Michelle Branch that played during the episode that Tara moved out of the house. That was a truly memorable Buffy moment.
Nonetheless, I think it's great.
