Another great 80's movie, that not to many know about. This had both the COREY's in it! It has a real cute love story. Corey Feldman plays Bobby, a kind of loser who's grades are lousy, and his love life is no exsistant. He's actually in love with his best friends Joels girl, Laney. Laney and Bobby get's mixed up with this ecentric old couples experiment, to stay young. The old couple and Laney and Bobby do a switcher roo, and things get crazy...but this is where the movie really takes off, and get's interesting. It's worth checking out!

I SAW THIS MOVIE MANY YEARS AGO. MY DAUGHTER WANTED IT FOR
HER BIRTHDAY. SHE LOVES IT, and all the old movies from the 80's
which I usually love, but this wasn't one of them.

I have seen this movie on tv and I said yo myself this is not a bad movie. What I like most about the movie is Meredith Dawn Salenger. This girl is as cute as can be and that body is to die for. Anyway the movie and the soundtrack compliment each oth. What I did not care for was Corey Feldman's Micxhael Jackson phase he webt through it was chesses at its best. Go out and buy this movie if you like 80's movie this one is a classics in its own way.

Who would've imagined, looking back in retrospect at the career on the once young Corey Feldman, that post The Goonies, Stand By Me or The Lost Boys, that he had yet one more classic film in him.
Also, imagine this film starring Jason Robards and Harry Dean Stanton and the film still holding up after, now, almost 20 years later. It's absolutely stunning.
The 1980's saw a plethora of movies flood the market about High School Life, Teen angst and Teenage love tales, mostly lead by John Hughes, the greatest director of this Genre of all time. But, as the '80's waned into a darkness and Hair-bands were all the rage, these films started to be pushed aside by adult coming-of-age films like Grosse Pointe Blank (yes, 7 years later) and other oddities, like Reality Bites, that would make you question what life after High School was really all about. Sure, Teen movies were made en-masse in the '90's, but none had any real viewing power until Brick came about in 2005 and let you know just how absent films like these had been.
But Corey Feldman ...
This really was the Swan Song from an actor who would disappear from film-making and lose himself into bad career choices, bad life choices, a Michael Jackson obsession that would turn sour, Rehab at the Palms and everything else that a typical Hollywood story would be comprised of. Dream A Little Dream is incredibly well paced, well written and equally well acted. Corey Feldman shines in this as the 'Every Teen' with his annoying and whiny friend, who would remain whiny and annoying for years to come. Feldman gives a performance beyond his years here and makes himself into a equal with Jason Robards, even with the crazy bandana, ripped jeans and tennis racket air-guitar.
Was this the last we'll see of this actor? Probably not. Like Crispin Glover, who also struggled with trouble, bad press and bad management in the '90's, he emerged stronger still and resilient. I imagine Corey Feldman might still, undoubtedly star in his generations Casablanca ... but I aint holding my breath for it.
