This is a very cool game, I must say. The graphics are slick and beautiful, the play is outstanding, and there is a bucket's worth of blood flying everywhere when you use your claws on your opponents. Also the game is challenging. So far I am on the level "Runt of the Litter" where you fight Sabretooth, who by the way is my third favorite X Villain next to Magneto and Apocalypse. He is a cool villain, and very vicious, as are all of the soldier guards you fight before him. Plus, you can regenerate just like our favorite Wolvie does in the comics and movies. There's even some mutant monsters for you to kill. Oh, and you can go into a feral rage where your attacks are VERRRYY DAMAGING. There is only one drawback to this game, as far as I'm concerned. On the level with Sabretooth, I have a very hard time finding a way to win. It may be good that this is a challenging game, but the level in question is near impossible. For that reason, I still like this game a lot, don't get me wrong, but before I continue to play it, I will need to buy the strategy guide to find out how to defeat Sabretooth. Other than that, however, it is a great game which I adore, and I recommend it to all who like challenging games, Wolverine and the X-Men, comic books, fighting, and the like. It is a very cool and underrated game. And I'm looking forward to moving on after buying the strategy guide that will get me to the next level of this terrific game.

This game is awsome. I found out that it works better when the color setting is on 16 bit mode 400 X 600 pixels. When on this setting, the movies won't be as choppy. For a walkthrough go to gamefaqs . com.

Don't worry about all the people complaining about the game (or rather their person system issues [buy a 3D accellerator, not for Windows 95, ect.]. The game is fun, and the plot is fine and the graphics are nice. Just one thing, don't think you'll play it for more than a week... which is typical for these types of games.

Unlike others who seemed to have tech probs with the game, I did not. My computer is an Athlon2000XP w/ winXP, 512k RAM, NVidia GForce4 card. I played the game for many hours & days - I went through many of the levels. Interesting enough it does have a pretty neat plot of how Wolverine became to be and if your patient you'll get to see many other marvel heroes & villans. The camera I won't lie is a tad difficult to work with - but once I got the feel for it, I didn't have much problems. But because the camera moved around allot, I would get a headache after 2-4 of hrs of gameplay and had quit the game for the day.
No the biggest bummer in the game is that the end characters each have a unique way to beat them and figuring it out can be VERY frustrating, to a point that I ended up quitting and uninstalled the game after my days of failure against the Juggernought. But all in all it's not a bad game - truely for those who are diehards for 3rd person and are Wolverine fans!

I bought this game for my brother as a gift. He has a brand new computer with what we thought was the latest 3D equipment. After downloading, we discovered that you need a 3D Accelorator to play the game, which is written in microscopic words at the bottom of the box. 3D accelorators don't come equipped in computers, and can cost upwards of $80 to purchase, so make sure your computer is compatible before purchasing.
