This backpack looks just like Dora's, except soft and fuzzy. The magnet doesn't keep it closed very well when there's anything in the backpack, but it's certainly easier for my three-year-old than a button or snap would be. I also like the map that's included. He has his own pocket, but is also attached with a cord so he won't get lost. A trail leading Dora to an ice cream cone is printed inside.

My daughter loves it. But it would have been nice if there were some audible features. Such as the backpack saying "Yum, yum, yum, yum, yumm, delicioso!" just like in the show. Nice product for the money.

My daughter LOVES this backpack. At age two, she needs help putting on correctly, but she wants to wear it all of the the time. She even wants to sleep in it, but I try to convince her to place it beside the bed instead.
The bag is a bit smaller than I expected even though I had read other reviews saying the same thing. I expected small, but not quite this small. The bag won't hold a lot of items, which is okay, but it doesn't quite accommodate the Dora books we purchased at the same time. They are the same height as the backpack, but they are wider than the bag at the top and so my daughter keeps bending them putting them in and taking them out, so I don't expect the books to hold up very long. The small Einstein books fit perfectly in the bag, but I can't convince her to carry them instead of the Dora books.
Also, the magnetic closer is not very strong. The backpack is always open as my daughter walks around with it. It don't worry about that around the house, but I am afraid of carrying any of her prized toys on our airplane trip next month. I am planning to get some cord and a big button to sew to the backpack and hopefully keep it closed better. Velcro would probably be a much easier solution, but it would probably ruin the bag. The bag is very plush and soft ... and very lavender - if I can find the right color velcro, I will probably use it, but I can't imagine putting black, white, or green on this beautiful bag - not to mention that my daughter would think I had defaced her backpack.
Despite these problems, I am so happy we purchased this backpack, and I still give it four stars. The plush seems so much nicer than the (similar) canvas one we saw at Toys R Us.

My daughter has had this pack for two years. She love to pack it full of treasures and strap it on. I think it's a great product for any Dora fan. Great quality!!!!!!!!
