For those fans of the Age of Empires series of games and fans of the Star Wars franchise, this is an excellent buy. Take command of the Clone Army or the CIS Legions in this game that puts you in the middle of the Clone Wars of Star Wars. The original Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is an excellent game in my opinion, but this expansion took the game to another level of entertainment. Real-time Strategy games have something to contend with when stacked against this game, and this is one of my personal favorites. Lucas Arts and Microsoft have teamed together to release an always-entertaining game, filled with new characters based on the film Star Wars: Episode II, and a few from the following film as well. Extraordinary care is taken to detail in this game, and I believe that buyers of Age of Empires and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds will continually be enthralled.

What I really like about this game is that, it doesn't only give the choice of playing campaigns from the actual movies, it also includes campaigns that happen after episode 6. The graphics are some what exceptional, and it is way better than the first version of StarWars Galactic Battlegrounds. I mean, COME ON!!!, sure the first version was cool, but you didn't have the two new civilizations, the Republic and the Confederacy, and you had a limited amount of upgrades.
The multi player is O.K., but it doesn't actually pause and the real time goes faster than you want it to.
Creating your own scenario is exciting to. But figuring out how the triggers work takes a lot of practice and skill. The really cool part about scenario editing is that you can have as many units as you want out on the battle field.
You can also decide your settings and difficulty level on a standard game. On a standard game you can choose from one of eight civilizations, build your army, and defeat your enemies!
Overall, this game rocks!, and I give it 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!

While Galactic Battlegrounds gets on the right RTS road, it doesn't go the distance. In a nutshell, it feels like an AoE mod more than a stand-alone game. A few improvements to the unit AI and some tweaking of structural hit points and we just might have a solid Star Wars RTS on our hands.

When I got the first galactic battle grounds I was astounded: easy controls, several great civilizations, and more! But when the clone campaigns came out, I went crazy. It's not a game you play once, then put it away forever. I got that game 2 years ago, and I still play it.
unfortunately, every game has pros and cons. Pros -Great, unique units for every civilization -Over 35 missions -Computer players can be set to easiest, easy, medium, and hard
Cons -Computers at times can be dense -Melee fighting graphics not realistic -Some of your own weapons can hurt your own soldiers
But, Overall, great game.
