Young at Heart DVD

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of my favorite Sinatra films
I simply love this film. Doris Day and Frank Sinatra are wonderful together! My children watch almost all old movies as there is not much worth watching in television and movies today. The only thing I can think of that might be something to be aware of in this movie concerning a child, is suicide. Barney purposely turns off his windshield wipers so that snow accumulates on his windshield and then he wrecks. He recovers from the wreck and lives happily ever after!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Excellent transaction
Glad to have been able to find this old movie that I loved. It was mailed quickly and efficiently and was just what I wanted.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Young At Heart
A wonderful movie from my childhood that I never get tired of viewing. Inspires hope for all who think things can't get better. Doris Day is so beautiful and what a voice. Great songs in this movie. Frank Sinatra as adorable as ever. You just want to take care of him.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Frank Sinatra & Doris Day

This movie is Wonderful, You can't beat Frank Sinatra and Doris Day
together. Frank sings wonderful songs, and the duet between him and
Doris (You, My Love) is marvelous.
So grab the popcorn and sit back and enjoy!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Hiya Tuttle!"
Doris Day and Frank Sinatra - you can't go wrong!

I enjoyed this movie very much! Doris Day was tremendous and what a voice! I think the only thing I didn't really care for was Frank Sinatra's character, Barney Sloane, at the beginning of the movie.
Doris Day is Laurie Tuttle, daughter of a musician, living in Connecticut with her two other sisters. Alex Burke (Gig Young), the son of her dad's friend, comes to Connecticut to write the music for his new Broadway show and boards at their house. Over the summer they fall in love and become engaged. Then Alex has his friend Barney Sloane (Frank Sinatra) come to do the musical arranging for him. Laurie feels sorry for him and helps him out. He ends up falling in love with her too and when he explains that her sister, Amy, is in love with Alex. Laurie ends up eloping with Barney and moving to New York.
This movie has some great songs: "Young At Heart," "There's a Rising Moon," "Ready, Willing and Able," "It Was Just One Of Those Things" and Doris Day and Frank Sinatra's wonderful duet "My Love."
