Dream On - Seasons 1 & 2 DVD

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Watched from day one
I don't remember how my husband and I began watching Dream On or how we found it, but we watched from day one and never missed an episode. When it started, our son was 10, so we would wait for his bedtime to watch. My gosh, how we love this show! The perfect, perfect placement of old TV clips was beyond great and a perfect cast to match. We were just talking about it the other day so I looked for the series on Netflix then decided to try Amazon. I couldn't hit the buy button fast enough. Without a doubt, our favorite series ever!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - MORE! MORE! Please, Sir, I want some MORE!?
This show was both hilarious and touching. Wish it had run for 10 years--or longer! Why the wait to release all six seasons? I loved this set of years 1 and 2, but where are the rest?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best comedy ever!
This is the best comedy ever to grace HBO or network TV. While I love Seinfeld, Friends and Curb Your Enthusiasm (and I own all of these on DVD, including their special editions where available), I love this show more. I just wish they would put out the rest seasons on DVD. While season 3 is on Hulu for free, I'd much rather watch the show on DVD than through an HTPC (and with Hulu's commercial interruptions). If HBO is going to put out the Larry Sanders show on DVD, the least they could do is finish putting out the Dream On series on DVD.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - TV series Dream On
I liked this show very much when it was airing on HBO. It is really nice to be able to have the dvd of the series and go back and watch them whenever I get a chance. They are funny.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Release the next seasons already
I live in Cyprus and i'd never even heard of this show until a couple months ago. Once i received the dvds and watched them i was hooked.

If HBO don't want to release s.3-6 cause s.1&2 didn't sell very well, maybe they can work something out with Shout!Factory (the guys who gave us Freaks & Geeks, Undeclared, Home Movies, My So-Called Life, Sports Night etc) or some similar company/label. And now HBO are doing the same thing with the Larry Sanders show, although for different reasons iirc.

As for this dvd set, i'm thankful for what i can get, but the fact it has no extras (other than an intro by John Landis) stops me from giving it 5 stars.
