Whoa this game rules it has good graphics a wonderful plot amazing charecters and gameplay an unmissable rpg the combat system is a lot like Zelda and being able to rebuild the world is a great feature it has some addicting gameplay i rember coming home and played at the very beginning (started at 4pm) and stoped at 4am without wanting to eat or anything all I was thinking about was playing Dark Cloud this game has 6 unique charecters to get in your party Toan:main charecter Xiao:my personal fav shes a cat/human who weilds a slingshot Goro: your average tough guy wannabe who has a giant mallet Ruby: a geine i'd tell you the other two but i still ain't got um this is a real long game...

In all it is a good game, with alot of weapons to upgrade into or find. The main character has 4 ultimate weapons where the other 6 characters have one or two. The game is long and would cost more in rental fees to play it fully then to buy it... The story is good and the mini stories after and during the rebuliding the cities process is great. this is a fun game and worth your time and cash. The only flaws i personal have with the game is having to switch back and forth charaters to get thru a level(each character is has a unique skill they can do that the others can't that is need to get thru a spot in the dungen level, such as one character is needed to jump to move on.), it doesn't happen often but the game could do with out it. Things that would have been great would have been if there was voice acting, The main character just looks like he is trying to talk but nothing comes out.
Just go buy the game it is fun and it is worth it

Okie so im a big Zelda fan and i agree this game kind of like Zelda image, BUt who cares!!!! I love it !! I love the fact that you can rebuild the villages and do whatever you want with them get creative. The interface is not too bad some of the controls you have to really get use to and if you put it down for a long time your going to have to relearn it which sucks.I do hate that the bosses get too hard and it takes alot of time to beat but its a challenge and I can't stand when a game is to easy to beat and lasts a couple days unless it has a good storyline and Im so siked for Dreamcloud two!!

I will say the overall game play is fun. as you have plenty to do in the game that changes often. No two dungeons are the same. I noticed that. The only draw back to this game is the fact the you must constantly upgrade weapons. This takes a long time to do. then to find the right combination of weapons to beat the bosses. The georama Idea is a nice one. And the fact you can alter the town you build on ocassion. but you must do it to the specs of the town folk or your in real trouble. As the town has to be near exact to get all of the chests and attachments. I did notice one thing 99% of all jewel attachments are found on back floors. Its a pain if you cant find oil. All of the main floor Beasts are almost impossible to beat. So get used to trolling in the dungeons. I went past 999 so its the weapons that must be strong enough to win in the end. On its initial stage it looks so easy but ends up a real challenge. I played DC2 on an OPM disc Looks good. Though I wish they had kept the Toan character as the lead. The little Blond guy looks a little boring to me. you get used to characters I guess. You must have patience in this game. It does require some major patience at times. but in the end its the game I put in the PS2 every day. I cant say that for other games.
