This is an exciting, entertaining game with excellent graphics and a boss plot! Most definetly one of the best games I've played yet! Playing through several different worlds, you embark on an exciting adventure, with 6 different characters, using all kinds of weapons, from sling shots to magical rings. Not to mention over 50 different enemies of all different shapes and sizes.The only bad thing about is a few minor glitches, but they're barely noticable, unless you look for them. In my opinion, as well as many others, the best PS2 game yet!!!!!

A good game with good graphics however the gameplay gets boring after the first 3 areas. The gist of the story doesn't change much and without the new characters it would get boring really easily. Once all the characters have been unlocked and weapons have been enhanced things just don't seem as magical as they were to begin with. But there are a few little extras that can be found but once I got a good character with a good weapon I used him all the time. Training the other characters just seems boring. A nice buy, but no way to the standards of Baldors Gate or Final Fantasy.

If you like going through endless random generated dungeons and having your swords break often just after you get them built up, then this is a game for you.

if you like "zelda styled" RPGs than you'll not be let down with this one. Original story line. Nice fighting style, kewl graphics, lots of personal preffeances with weapons/elements and items. Rebuilding the towns is a fun and positive addition to the mix in the RPG world. All in all this game has a lot of gameplay and is great to look at. also look @ dark cloud 2

i got this game on easter. so far it's the best game i've ever played! you get to pick between 6 characters: Toan: his weapons are a variety of daggers and swords. Xiao: different kinds of sling shots. Ruby: with mant kinds of magical rings. Goro: axes,hammers and other heavy weapons. the other two names i can,t spell but i'll try ;) onsgaga: spears and staffs. osmond: laser guns and machine guns.
you get to build many citys. I think there is 5 but i'm not sure because i havn't beaten it. All in all it is the best role playing game ever.
