Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 'Cleveland Rocks!Music From The Drew Carey Show'(Rhino)
I usually prefer movie soundtracks rather than TV ones, but this one is an exception.I've never been the 'biggest' fan of the Drew Carey show, but I always watched it whenever I could. Each season of the long running TV show had a different song for it's opening segment, and well it should. Some really good tunes on this disc, like The Vogues-"Five O'Clock World"(I haven't heard that song since I was ten-nice going,Rhino),the Edgar Winter Group FM staple "Free Ride",Joe Walsh-"Rocky Mountain Way",Reverend Horton Heat-"Now,Right Now"(I remember the Reverend playing this tune on tour when I saw him at a pub)and last and certainly anything but least,Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life".A fun collection of tracks to listen to on your lunch break.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - We Love You Drew * and the whole gang on the Drew Carey Show
This is an absolute MUST for any Drew Carey Fans! Simply the BEST music from all your favorite episodes. We love it and you will too! * Drew, you really ought to sing more often. You got a Great voice.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the greatest TV soundtracks ever made
This is a great TV show album. Who can really say they don't feel like getting up and dancing to some of these songs when the show is playing and you're all alone. Well you've got more chance of being alone with the CD as the show is a bit too popular to be left watching by yourself.

The main titles from different years are here Cleveland Rocks and Five O'Clock World. You really do feel like doing the dance moves when you here them. Buying the album for these two alone is worth the money.

Other songs will bring back flashbacks to your mind of the episodes they're from such as You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet when they were doing the Full Monty with the spinning brown paper boxes and The Time Warp from the episode they had the Rocky Horror Verse verse Priscilla Queen of the Desert dance off.

Drew Carey sings a couple of songs Moon Over Parma, 40 Cubic Feet and God Bless America. Mimi sings Christmas Parodies along with a boys choir. Other characters from the show can be heard in the songs Working in the Coal Mine and Tomorrow. The Horn Dogs who sing A Taste of Honey are Drew, Lewis, Oswald and Kate who sings out of tune with the surrounding hilarious scene of that episode also on this track. Bite Me Doughboy is actual short sentence scenes from the show mix to a fast paced music sort of song. It is pretty good.

Free Ride is a catchy song in the tradition of the main title songs you can dance to. Now Right Now is a fast paced great song. The sexual icecream tv commercial sounds of un homme et une femme is the music of the song A Man and A Woman. Lust for Life and Rocky Mountain Way are the other two songs in full version which only parts (not the main parts) of were actually in the episodes. They are not the best songs in the world but pleasant enough to have as background music if working. All of the songs on here appeared in some format on the episodes which aired during or before 1998. This CD also comes with a mini book inside the front cover which tells you exactly which episode each and every song is from, if you can not remember just by hearing them. It has some great photographs of the episodes. Even if you don't like every song there are 24 of them so there should be enough that you will like to get your moneys worth.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pop it in your CD player and drive fast!
Being a big fan of "Drew Carey's" musical numbers, I was excited when this CD was released, and it fast became one of my favorites. I play it often, and always in my car when I'm driving down to the beach. It's good, upbeat, sing-along music for driving.

I especially enjoyed the snippets from the show between songs. Among them are Kate's memorably disastrous rendition of "Taste of Honey" ("Our instruments are out of tune. Horribly, hideously out of tune. But they mean well!"), Drew bellowing "God Bless America" ("...stand beside her, and guide her, from the thing to the thing of the thing...") and sobbing his way through "High Hopes" ("Oops, there goes...ten years of my life!").

Also included is an instrumental piece (peppered with bits of dialogue) from the guy (I forget his name and the song isn't listed in the CD details here) who does the bumper music (back from/going to commercial) for the show. (Wow, there were a lot of parenthetical asides in that sentence.)

So, to wrap it up, if you like the upbeat music featured on the "Drew Carey Show," and the occasional ditty sung by the characters themselves, you will love this CD. It reminds me of the good old days of DCS, before the shark was jumped.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FUN CD!
I picked up a copy of the CD becuase I've always enjoyed the musical numbers featured on the Drew Carey Show. I popped it in the CD player and have decided that this is the most fun soundtrack there is. The music is so great and puts you in a really good mine. The little snippets from the show will have you have you laughing!

By the way, you must to get the CD simply to hear "Bite Me Doughboy." Oh boy! It really captures the show's 'personality'
