More of The Monkees is Twenty-eight minutes and thirty-six seconds and originally released on June 9, 1967. More of The Monkees reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Albums (eighteen weeks at #1) and #1 on the Cashbox Albums chart. This was their follow up album to the group self titled debut album. More of The Monkees did better then their first album selling over five million copies. Two of the songs charted from the album. The music on this album is done in a pop bubblegum style. I am giving More of The Monkees an AA++.

More Of The Monkees, the band's 1967 release, was their top seller, racking up over one year (70 weeks to be precise) on the Billboard album chart, including eightteen weeks at #1! It was the third best-selling LP of the '60s, ranking higher than (gasp!) any Beatles album! They also had a #1 hit on the pop singles charts with "I'm A Believer", which was written by Neil Diamond, and a Top 20 hit with "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone". The classic "She", which opens the album, sets the stage for a trip through '60s pop that one won't easily forget. Enjoyable and recommended.
