Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Queen Greatest hits
This CD is is great especially if you are a Queen fan. It truly is a collection Of their greatest hits.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Queen is Amazing!
This CD was my first exposure to Queen. As is evident on this album, this band is absolutely overflowing with talent. Freddie Mercury is a genius, singing his heart out on every single one of these tracks. It's hard to pick and choose, but I would have to say that the standout tracks for me are:

"Somebody to Love": A huge, sprawling song with absolutely mesmorizing vocals from Freddie Mercury and amazing harmonies.
"Fat Bottom Girls": A classic hard rock tune with gorgeous harmonies and great guitar lines.
"You're My Best Friend": A smooth, cool, beautiful, and underrated love song.
"Seven Seas of Rhye": I love the piano on this song, and the classic hard rock feel.
"Don't Stop Me Now": A classic adrenaline-rush of a song.

I love this CD. You should get it if you like Queen. It's very cohesive. And if you don't really know Queen that well, it's a great sampler of their music. There is one problem. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is my favorite Queen song, and its absence on this album irks me quite a bit. That being said, I would download it individually before I would actually buy another album with it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - blast from the past

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Genre Bender's Greatest Hits
Although it lacks a few of their best songs, Queen's "Greatest Hits" is a nice starting point for anyone who remembers the band from their glory days and for those just beginning this royal rock journey. I think that few people would argue the point that Freddie Mercury truly had one of the best voices around. He could meld it to any of a number of genres of music and that's well-evidenced on this album. From the anthemic "We Will Rock You" to the rockabilly "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," to the groovy, urban stylings of "Another One Bites The Dust," Mercury and the boys constantly crossed genre lines.

Highlights including those previously mentioned are "I Want To Break Free," "Save Me", "Killer Queen," "Somebody To Love," and the wonderfully strange "Body Language." My personal favorite is "Fat-Bottomed Girls."

Fans of arena rock bands like Styx and Foreigner will surely enjoy Queen, although Queen is on an entirely different level than those bands. They are classic rock royalty and I highly recommend you snag "Classic Queen" to get a more complete understanding of Queen's broad-reaching style of music.

Highly recommended.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love this CD
I've listened to this CD since I was ten and I cannot get enough of it. It's a perfect compilation of lots of their work, (even though I'm still ticked about Bohemian Rhapsody not being on there, but oh well.) Personally I think the other greatest hits have too many songs, (but that's just my opionion.)

1. We Will Rock You 1/10 -I SO cannot STAND this song. I'm sorry it's probably my least favorite Queen song which is ironic since it's the most popular, (shows what I know..) WAY too sporty, jocky, sweaty, "Gr, I'm gonna beat you up-ish." If you get what I'm saying.

2. We Are the Champions 1/10 -Same as above.

3. Another One Bites the Dust 6/10 -It's listen-able but I think it's kind of boring and too synthesizer ish

4. Killer Queen 9.5/10 -Finally getting to the good songs. I ah-dore this song. It's quirky and happy, (even though I have NO idea what it's about.) You're always smiling when you're done listening to it, "Perfume came naturally from Paris, ..naturally..." :-D See I'm smiling now.

5. Somebody to Love 10/10 -A lovely ballad/upbeat song. (I dunno how something can be a slow song and a fun one at the same time, but they do it.) It's gorgeous and never gets old.

6. Fat Bottomed Girls 9/10 -I think it's hilarious and get's rid of the stereo-typical "skinny blonde witch," perfect woman. I love the beats and really enjoy the lyrics.

7. Bicycle Race 8/10 -I like this song too, just not as much. Kind of has a funny topic, (again I have NO idea what they mean by "Jaws was never my scene and I don't like Star Wars," but I don't care that I don't know what it means.) The bicycle dings are humerous and it has good harmonies.

8. You're My Best Friend 9.5/10 -Freddie's voice is just wonderful as always, as he sings about a good friend. It's very peaceful and happy, and catchy too.

9. Crazy Little Thing Called Love 9.5/10 -I've always loved how Queen was so innavative and now they're playing like Elvis, (only his voice is a million times better. I mean Freddie, not Elvis.) Great harmonies again and I believe this is the first time he played the guitar in a song.. (please correct me if I'm wrong.)

10. Now I'm Here 8.5/10 -Starts out as another stereo-typical rock song but really turns into something after a while. Just a great rock song.

11. Play the Game 8/10 -I wouldn't listen to the song for a while, (just because of the begining 10 seconds being... odd,) but one day I was washing the dishes and couldn't skip ahead, finding out that the song's pretty good. I love when he starts to talk about "my game of love has just begun.." or something along those lines because the piano is just great. (Is it just me or are they always talking about "playing the game" a lot in their songs? Probably just me.)

12. Seven Seas of Rhye 9/10 -LOVE the piano and the tamberine and the guitar, and just EVERYTHING. Very upbeat and love the ending when they sing like drunken pirates, "Yo ho ho I do like to be beside the sea siiide.)

13. Body Language ?/10 -I have NO idea how to describe this song and think that it's well... interesting.. You'll have to listen for yourself..

14. Save Me 10/10 -I LOVE this song. It's so beautiful and tragic and just totally awesome! A charming slow ballad.

15. Don't Stop Me Now 10/10 -How much do I love this song?! The pianos great, the voice is great. It's up tempo and talking about having a great time and being awesome!

16. Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy 10/10 -Totally am in love with this song too. It's such a great, romantic sounding song. ("I learned my passion in the good old fashioned school of lover boys..")

17. I Want to Break Free 10/10 -It's so great and talking about letting go and being free. Totally awesome.

So this is my review, and I highly suggest buying this CD.
