Great book! They cover all the bases. The USAF Project Mogul+Test Dummies explanations make no sense after you read this book. None of the first-hand witnesses who were there think it was a Mogul balloon. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in UFOs and what really crashed northwest of Roswell in July 1947...

It's been some time since I've read a book covering the Roswell Incident. Thankfully, when I was given the opportunity to read this one, I didn't turn it down. I have never accepted the Air Force's "explanation" of the events that transpired in the summer of 1947 near Roswell New Mexico. This book represents an amazing amount of dedication to detail which is easily recognized in the finite details provided by the authors. After reading this book, I can honestly say, there's no question in my mind as to what happened in 1947. Anyone, who is even slightly interested in UFOs, government cover ups, and of course Roswell, cannot afford to skip this book.

I can't say enough about the quality of the investigation in "Witness to Roswell. In a court of law the argument presented would certainly prevail. The timeline is solid and the interconnected witness testimony supports every major event. I have read dozens of books on the subject and none of them have the clarity and depth of provable facts that this book has.
I plan to give this book to my skeptical friends. I will simply ask them if after reading it, they still believe a weather balloon and wooden dummys can account for all of the things that are proved to have happened in those days. If so they are welcome to their unsupportable bias.
No rational person could reach that conclusion after reading this book. Over 600 witnesses are not all lying.

While I appreciate the authors' attempt to throw light on this incident, they should have recognized the need to hire a book doctor. This is a subject where dispassionate writing, organization and documentation are essential, and this book lacks all three. The writing is amateurish and overburdened with adjectives in an attempt to pad and dramatize the accounts much as do TV reenactments. It's too bad the editor didn't realize that melodrama detracts from the credibility of what is intended to be a factual book. If superb writing, clarity, objectivity and documentation are important to you, buy instead UFO's And The National Security State.
