This is a very good book, both for children and adults. I wish these stories were available when I was young. Adults will find much to entertain them as well as many reminders of their childhood. I was not as impressed with the illustrations as the publisher but art is subjective.

This is a great childrens novel about naughty children and there peculiar care giver. It is fun to see what inspired the movie "Nanny Mcphee".

This was an entertaining collection of three small books. Except for some obviously English vs American language usage (e.g. treacle instead of syrup), the stories were lively and entertaining. My daughter loved reading them to me and we both benefited. I highly recommend this book.

I purchaed this volume as a result of seeing the Nanny McPhee movie and thought it would interest my daughter and get her to read more.
As an adult and reading these stories for the first time I found that they are a little dated and in some aspects a bit repetitious in their endings.
The story lines themselves are not exciting from todays standards and deal with values which sadly some in society feel no longer need to be inforced.
More suitable I feel for the seven to nine year age group although some help may be needed with some of the words if they are reading alone.
