The Complete Peanuts 1950-1954 Box Set Books

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome collection!
I grew up on Peanuts, and one of my fondest memories is as a young kid reading a collection of classic Peanuts I had. My old Peanuts books have been lost in time, which made the opportunity to reacquaint myself with the old Peanuts gang a special treat. There isn't much to say except these collections are very complete, and the books themselves are high quality. These suckers are heavy though, and if the box fell off the shelf it could kill a small cat.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome
Great gift for any Peanuts fan, young or old. The characters earlier drawings are fun to compare to the finalized look you find in the later Peanuts comics and movies. The case that holds the 2 volumes is nicely done, with artwork around all sides and durable enough to withstand the beating free super saving gets you sometimes.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great way to start the series.
This is the inaugural double volume set of the Peanuts series. It is great to see how the Peanuts gang came together. I started reading Peanuts in the 70's so these first volumes are great to read. My kids love them too.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Excellent Set, But Gary larson did them better!
First of all, let me state that I LOVE Peanuts. I am exactly 6 months older than they are, and I've loved reading them since 1957. But This format is all wrong, well, PARTLY wrong. I would like to see the entire Peanuts catalog in the format the Gary larson used when he put out his Far Side Complete set; 2 HUGE volumes rsther than 15 or 20 small ones. I am going to wait and hope that the Peanuts people will think this is a good idea, and put these volumes out in 3 or 4 large books, say 10 X 16. I they'd be less expensive and easier to keep on your shelf. Any comments are most welcome, especially from the Peanuts powers-that-be in New York.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very nice gift item
I gave this as a gift to my brother and he loved it. He is excited to collect all of them. Great gift idea for any age category!!
