Rating: - A Must-Have for working with kids on the spectrum
This is a wonderful program for kids on the autism spectrum. It tackles the difficult concept of deficits in flexible thinking in a way that is clear and engaging for elementary school aged children. The result is that our kids "get" ways to interact with others in a way that makes them a joy to be with. I am a Speech Language Pathologist in a school for kids with Learning Disabilities, most of our kids are on the autism spectrum, and we have had a tremendously positive experience with this program. The kids love working toward recognition rewards, and really think of themselves as super-heroes. What a positive experience for kids who have had few positive experiences in school. Truly, I recommend this book with all my heart. What a blessing for all of us working with special children.
