Fantastic Book about the greatest animation studio of our day. Pixar continues to distance itself from other mediocre studios such as dreamworks, by continuing to show us something new and different. Beautiful book showcasing the artwork of the most talented group of artisans since the original disney studios. Cannot recommend this book highly enough, beautiful book and a fascinating read.

my son who is 22 loves pixar and was surprised on christmas morning to see this great book he said it is full of great facts about the studio and he is enjoying it

When I received this book, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of it and the quality of the construction. WIth it's large dimensions, heavy and glossy page stock, and cloth cover it is definitely coffee table worthy. This tome is packed full of photos of Pixar staff, movie stills, and concept pieces. The writing goes into depth covering the early days with Ed Catmull and John Lasseter, each of the movies (prior to publication), and up to the Disney acquisition. The shorter "Spotlight" features cover sound engineering, voice talent, the various Pixar shots, and much more. Highly recommended for all Pixar geeks.
