Dale Robertson, gunslinging hero of Tales Of Wells Fargo and The Iron Horse does a creditable job on "High Noon." The Sons of the Pioneers do their famous "Cool Water." Even "Charlie Weaver" sings his newly composed western ballad: "Old Paint Needs A Paint Job." Famous rodeo star Kirby Buchanan warbles his TV debut. The music stops for a very well written and touching tribute to four great heroes of the old (Hollywood ) West: William S. Hart, Tom Mix, Buck Jones, and Will Rogers. This alone is worth the price of admission. Add the generous portions of cowboy classics to complete the recipe for a delightful and rare program. 54 minutes.
