Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Buy this and relax
I bought the 360 when it came out (stood in a long line and waited and waited to get it).

I'm likely one of the few who never had a problem with his 360 (doesn't mean I wasn't paranoid), but I never had a problem. I sold my launch console to grab the HDMI version (the falcon) and still wasn't that happy with it.

It was hot, made lots of sound, and I was always paranoid thinking (this might be the last game I ever get to play, better rush it).

It got so bad ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - New Xbox 360 and no problems yet
I'm not a hardcore gamer. I do own an Xbox which I gave to my grandchildren as I saw the newly released Xbox 360's with the new chipset in them which is supposed to fix the PROD problem and they are supposed to run cooler as well so bought one. So far so good. I only played the game Pure of the two games that came with this Elite edition and it was fun...but I was more interested in playing the newly released game Modern Warfare 2. I bought MW2 when it arrived in our local stores and have been playing ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - PS3 and XBOX 360 Owner
I currently own two different consoles for two different reasons due to XBOX 360 releases such as Halo, Gears of War, Left for Dead, and Mass Effect; however, my primary console is the PS3 for the much more needed effect of graphics, features, HDMI 1.3a, and Blu Ray. I had an XBOX 360 from the first generations and I can pretty much say it lasted 4 years until I decided to sell it and buy the XBOX 360 Elite. I'm not sure of the current status of the XBOX 360 I sold, but as far as I know the RROD has not ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle
I have owned about 3-4 xboxs in the past 3 years. I decided recently to sell my xbox 360 with the 60 gig hard drive to get the elite.

I was very happy to see the price drop to 299.99 with 2 bundled games. Although I was upset that they no longer included the HDMI cable. Its nice knowing that this system is the much looked for "jasper" chipset. I have been playing call of duty modern warfare ALOT! I played for about 8 hours the first day and my elite didn't even get warm.

I ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - No Data Migration Kit; No WiFi - What is this, 2002?
If you buy this to replace an old unit, note this: a Data Migration Kit is not included. Instead, you must call Microsoft and order it for $12.90 (not including tax). The Data Migration Kit is required to move everything off the old unit's drive onto the new unit's drive.

Unlike the PS3, this does not play Blu-Ray AND does not include a wireless network adapter (which costs an extra $80).

That said, you can play Halo 3.
