A really terrfic set with classic pictures that cover "everything" Lone Ranger from comics to movie posters / lobby cards to bread ads, from the early days of radio thru the television days right up to the 1980 movie, this is the best set ever nade about the history of the masked man.Some of the themes in The Lone Rangers and Tontos Set includes: Earl Graser (the first radio Lone Ranger, who was too short to make public appearances and died tragically / Bruce Beemer (the radio Lone Ranger who followed Graser and whose voice is most associated with the role) / Bob Livingston & the other Movie Lone Rangers /John Hart, the "other" TV Lone Ranger, who covered the role while Clayton Moore was on strike, and later became TV's "Hawkeye / Clayton Moore, the man along with Beemer most associated with the role / Chief Thundercloud (Tonto in the seials), and Jay Silverheels who were both full-blooded Native-Americans / Lone Ranger writer Fran Striker and much, much more. A really terrific concept set nicely done with loads of interesting details about the masked man, produced by Dart FlipCards in 1997 with a low distribution and sold out very fast so the set has continued to rise in the price guides.
