Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Toons, please...
Yes, I was waiting for another set of four DVDs the make my October a bit brighter.

But the focus has shifted. I'd think they'd want to make the collections as thorough as possible, or the remaining toons may not be marketable as "for kids"....some of the stronger race cartoons remain, as do some not seen since initial release. And some of the early ones involve jokes about prohibition. The pre- Hayes cartoons deal with other matters. The question is---what will they do?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Spotlight Collection great for the budget collector!
For me, these spotlight collections are perfect. I'm only interested in the cartoons and not the extra stuff. My only hope is that they continue to release new cartoons in this format.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Give the fans what they want
I agree with the reviewer from Norway, WB should give the fans what they want. I don't understand why did WB decided to discontinue the Golden Collection series when it seems to be doing very well and getting very good reviews from fans. I hope to see more new Looney Tunes releases in the future and not recycled previously released titles.

Regards

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Shame on you Warner Bros.!!!
Shame on you, plese continued the Golden collection series. The Fans want's more new Looney Tunes to DVD. Give what the fans want. We want it all.... Not this. Only Ccartoons that the fans alredy have from before. Nothing new here on DVD. I'm a huge Looney Tunes fan. Why did Warner stopped the Golden collectin, make me wonders. Give me more Golden collection and I'll gladly buy it..... The Cartons is great..... But Warner should listen to the buyers. There are so many good ones left. Why they not ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Warner Bros. Needs to Rethink Situation
Why continue with the Spotlight Collection, which is basically a re-release of stuff already available on the Golden Collection sets? It really makes no sense, especially considering the fact that there are still many great classic Warner Brothers cartoons that have yet to be released on DVD.

For instance, where's "Racketeer Rabbit," that classic 1946 Bugs Bunny short with gangster caricatures Edward G. Robinson and Peter Lorre? There have been numerous Looney Tunes DVD releases that this ... Read More
