Love this movie.. And i'm so glad Paramount finally gave us discs that aren't bare bones.. This movie is one of the best in the series so buy it now...

dudley and the camp thing was kool it was diffrent and like a mystery.. and pop lock dancing funky fie! she was fly and the way this man posing as jason had to come face to face with the guilt of his son for not being there. it was skillfully written..it was enjoyable trust me give hoder a small break

I thought Jason was finished after the fourth installment of this series for two reasons; 1. The fourth installment was named "The Final Chapter" and 2. Nobody wakes up after Corey Feldman hits you that hard in the head with your own machete. Nobody!
But, alas, I was wrong...

This one manages to maintain a glint of the "raw" quality of the first four. Not as slick as what came after so, for that reason, it's one of my favorites almost by default. I like the other sequels just fine, but this is the last one to have the "feel" of the original(s).
Yeah, Jason's only in this one for flashbacks, dream sequences and hallucinations, which has kept it down a peg or two since it's release, but the kills are still pretty good. It's "different," but not in the apologist ... Read More

A year after the supposed "Final Chapter," Jason returned again in this 4th sequel to the original. While not as "good" as the previous entry, A New Beginning does try to do things a little differently.
The movie opens with Tommy Jarvis (Corey Feldman), the boy who finally took down Jason visiting the killer's grave. Moments later, two idiots arrive to unearth the killer.
