I HAD THIS FILM IN SD AND WATCHED IT MAYBE 6 OR 7 TIMES IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. I FINALLY DECIDED TO JUMP ON THE BLU RAY AND BELIEVE ME IT'S REALLY WORTH THE SWITCH THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BD I GET IT LOOKS AS IT WAS CUT THIS YEAR, BUY IT YOU CERTAINLY WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED STORY ,PICTURE QUALITY ,SOUND QUALITY ,EVERYTHING IS WORTH EVERY CENT AND BY THE WAY PRICE IS VERY CHEAP.

Fox has some of the Worse Blu-Rays out. My copy of this was fine. Good movie.

I've always liked this movie. A lot. Not many people do. When I heard it was now out on Blu Ray I jumped at the chance before reading reviews.. I'm not a big fan of 'the grain is supposed to be there' argument. Maybe it is maybe it isn't but I don't care for it. Like Fargo, though not as bad, the backgrounds in most every scene 'crawl' with noise (grain?) which to my eye looks like a digital 'distortion'.
