I got this for my second office as I was upgrading an RCA "TruFlat" TV. Since I do not watch TV in there too often I did not need anything really big but I did want something that was at least made this century that had a couple of HDMI inputs. My second need for this TV was to hook it up to my DVD burner and VCR to transfer all of my VHS video-cassettes onto DVD. The Toshiba 19" LCD HD TV #19AV600U fit the bill. It's a fine little TV. After reading other reviews and seeing some of the other products , I purchased this at a real good savings and couldn't be happier. Saves a lot of space, has tremendous picture quality. Two things I am not crazy about are the glossy frame which most other units have also and I have not been able to locate a headphone jack.

Knowing nothing about flat screen TV's, I bought this based on price and product reviews. I am using it with a rabbit ears antenna in my office and therefore have limited knowledge of the full capabilities. However, for my purposes, it works great. I am not able to pick up one (major) local channel and not sure if that is because the signal from the station is weak or a TV issue. We needed a small LCD TV for a bedroom/home office. After some online research we ordered an AOC L19W89V 19" LCD HDTV. It was awful The sound quality was exceptionally tinny and the picture was soft. No amount of adjustment improved either. The AOC was returned immediately. Having been once burned, we did some more research and selected the Toshiba 19AV600U. It's a stark contrast to the AOC.
