Whilst I agree with all the previous reviews of 'She Beast'both as a film and the print quality there is one minor disappointment.
When I first saw this movie many years ago at the cinema it had a 'tacked on'ending with Steele & Ogilvy in bed back in their London flat. Whilst making love Steele suddenly turns back into the witch !

For those who, like me, initially bought the "Alpha Video" DVD edition of this film, I highly recommend to throw it away and buy this superb edition from "Dark Sky". At last, the image is good and in its original format. I wonder how "Alpha Video" suceeded to get such a bad copy. This company is to be avoided.

I am very pleased with this dvd of a true classic of the esoteric - you'll be too. The transfer is excellent compared to the older, dark and unwatchable one from Alpha Video. Now, watching the Dark Sky release, I actually can tell what the movie is about! The picture quality is very good, and makes this dvd worth adding to your video library. Great to see this movie get a proper dvd release. I've always been a fan, even when all I had to go by was a scratchy lookling budget release, but now it's so much more enjoyable. It's definitely worth the upgrade. I hope Michael Reeves' The Sorcerers eventually gets the same kind of treatment.
