The last time I remember playing Pokemon was on my original gameboy, when it first came out-the blue version. I bought this game for my DS because I enjoyed it as a kid. I was happy to see that there are still original pokemon (and many new) and the game play is still the same. This game is awesome and once I start it is soo hard to put down...one more battle! Husband-leave me alone..dogs-leave me alone...Im playing pokemon! No but really it is a lot of fun and encouraged to anyone from kids ... Read More

I am not a kid and asking a kid under 13 and a boy what you playing on the DS or DSi. 8 out 10 say Pokomon. The company going to milk this series out for the max and this game is no different then the others Pokomon DS games. It the same and it different. It hard to say which one is better then the other. This falls in line with enjoyment and broken fingers playing the DS. Ask the kids they tell you. My daugther plays them. One thing is to get the guide book for them. that help them. All the codes. ... Read More

Pokemon are available in this version that you would need to trade for in ... Read More

I purchased this as a gift for my 19 year old daughter, who had been playing the Pokemon games for years. I'm sure she thought I would give her clothes or something, but when she opened this gift she was like WOW! I see her playing this game all the time, and her boyfriend too...She liked her Birthday gift, and that made me happy.
