Product Description: Studio: Funimation Prod Inc Release Date: 02/10/2009
Amazon.com: Super Android 13 (Kyokugen Batoru!! Sandai Suupaa Saiya- jin, "Battle Limit!! The Three Super Saiya-Jin," 1992) and Bojack Unbound (Ginga Girigiri!! Butchi-giri no Sugoi Yatsu, "The Strongest Guy in the Universe!! 1993) were the seventh and ninth movies in the long-running Dragon Ball Z continuity. Super Android 13 ranks among the weakest entries in the series: Three Androids created by Dr. Gero's computer suddenly appear, determined to destroy Goku. A standard battle ensues, with the other Z Fighters appearing out of nowhere. In the final duel with Android 13, Goku draws on the life-energy of the entire Earth, as he did in The World's Strongest. Bojack Unbound offers a more coherent story and more satisfying action. Something goes wrong during a giant martial arts tournament: Gohan and the gang find themselves facing the super-powerful Bojack and his three sidekicks in a deadly smackdown. Although he's living with King Kai in the Other World, Goku intervenes long enough to inspire Gohan to find the untapped power needed to defeat the villains. The filmmakers employ an unusually brilliant palatte to heighten the drama. Both films would have easily fit on a single disc. (Rated TV PG: violence, ethnic stereotypes, toilet humor, alcohol use) --Charles Solomon

These digitally re-mastered releases of the Dragon Ball Z movies are excellent, not only do the features themselves look great (Better than the orange bricks in my experience) but the packaging itself stands alone.... STEEL BOOKS.... I know a lot of DBZ fans when it comes to packaging its the last thing on their mind, it's all about how they prefer the actual transfer itself to look and how it should be done. but i just have to say that FUNI did one great thing and thats releasing these double features ... One of my most anticipated double features. Super Android 13 is a classic showcase of the strength of Super Saiyans. Bojack Unbound is about the events taking place after the Cell games but before the timeskip.

In recent years, FUNimation, who has begun to release countless anime titles spanning various genres, has gone back to the franchise that made them big - Dragon Ball Z. They have gone back and begun releasing the series and the films in inexpensive season sets and double features.
This feature combines the seventh and ninth movies of the Z series - Super Android 13 and Bojack Unbound.
Super Android 13 features our heroes squaring off against three Androids that were created by ... Read More

My outlook at the Double Feauture DVDs is that the movies themselves are alright to good. It is probably because the story is fitted into about 2 and a half normal 20 minute TV episodes. So they have to pick up the pace a bit.
With the Bojack Unbound I think they should have added how Bojack escaped at the beginning before the Martial Arts Tournament. I think Gohan should be on the front of the DVD and not Vegeta.
Otherwise this is a good item to purchase.
