HEIR TO THE EMPIRE is the first book in the Star Wars Thrawn trilogy and is significant for several reasons. The book was the first Star Wars novel released after RETURN OF THE JEDI sanctioned by George Lucas. I am very impressed by the comic book series of figures (if not by the comic books themselves). They seem superior to many of the others in not only their detailing but in their resemblance to the actual characters from the movies.
In this case, the characters are not from the movies but they are still remarkably sculpted. Thrawn looks as evil as you'd imagine him in his dazzling white uniform (which nicely offsets that blue skin) and the Force-neutralizing ysalamir wraps nicely and snugly ... Read More
