If like me since the digital change over you've been experiencing drops out due to low signal strength. Look no further and buy on of these!
Easy to install and the change you will see in your TV picture is amazing. Plus Winegard's name is one of the best in the business. As long as you can access your attenna's mast anyone can install one of these in less then 1/2 an hour.

We have an attenna for our television viewing. When the analog stations went digital, we lost a few of our favorites. We wanted them back. We purchased the Winegard AP-8700 U/V Pre Amplifier and we have our stations back. It was easy to install and adjust to recieve signals. We bought this Pre Amplifier because we trust Wingard products
Make sure you know how far the signal is you are trying to pick up to know which Wingard Pre Amplifier to buy.

Great product, easy to install, and works for me better than expected. I am using it to enhance reception of free broadcast digital TV. I went from 9 channels of reception to 19 channels of reception with this product. I am located 50 miles from the stations that I can now receive with the amplifier installed.

i bought a Winegard 1080 HD antenna and it picked up only ONE digital channel, so I thought by adding the preampp it would give me more channels. Turned out it did not improve any. I waited too long and could not return my Winegard antenna but certainly try to return this preamp. the Winegard 1080D antenna was a piece of junk for the money I paid.... so much for buying based on other's positive. rating.
