This game wasn't much of a challenge. I know there are 2 levels of play, and I chose easy, but they still load you up with a ton of power-ups that I can't imagine hard being terribly difficult. Also, it's a pretty short game. I beat it pretty quickly. I can see the replay value in it, but only if you've got nothing else to do. You can build up your black suit/red suit personae, but after you beat the game once, this isn't much of a motivating factor to replay. But, the gameplay is fun, even ... Read More

2-d game play? VERY disappointed that a "new game" would come out in the year 2008 and be in 2-d. The left to right only screen action makes me feel like I was playing an old ATARI game. 1 thumb down.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for the PSP plays pretty much like the PS2 version of the game; note the subtitle that reads Amazing Allies Edition. Instead of using the tried & true open world New York City playing style that has been implemented since Spider-Man 2 (and is used on the other versions of Web of Shadows), this PSP version is a 2-D side scroller-ish beat 'em up. Its cool the fact that you can get 15 Heroes/Villians... but other then that this game was a big disappointment I wish I wouldn't have bought it I will sell it tomorrow
